Shaun made his directorial debut at Hayes Theatre Co in 2015 with RENT (Highway Run Productions). After a totally sold out initial season, RENT returned to the Hayes due to popular demand, with both seasons selling out prior to opening night. 

Other directing credits include; I Am My Own Wife (Oriel Group/Redline Productions) at Old Fitz Theatre, Wicked (Freerain Theatre Company, Canberra), A Christmas Carol (Tabard Theatre, London) and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown for the Hayes Theatre Company. You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown received 4 nominations at the 2016 Sydney Theatre Awards including Best Director of a Musical and Best Production of a Musical.

In January of 2017 I Am My Own Wife enjoyed a successful season at Melbourne's 45 Downstairs. It will tour to the Brisbane Powerhouse in April of 2017.

In 2005 Shaun co-created Light the Night, an annual benefit concert for Leukaemia research. Shaun produced and directed Light the Night for 10 years. 

In 2017 Shaun will be working at the Ensemble Theatre in Sydney as the recipient of the Sandra Bates Directors Award. Other upcoming projects include Carmen Alive or Dead starring Nat Gamsu and Only Heaven Knows at the Hayes Theatre in June 2017
